§ 10-13. Fire hydrants.

Fire hydrants shall be fitted with two (2) two and one-half (2½)-inch hose connections and one (1) four and one-half (4½)-inch steamer connection with national standard threads. The above ground part of the hydrant shall be given a prime coat then two (2) coats of approved, white, weatherproof enamel paint. Hydrants shall also meet construction specifications as defined by Tupelo Water and Light.
