§ 4-50. Appeals.

  • In the event that any person is aggrieved by any action or inaction of the authority, its employees, commissioners and agents or the airport manager pursuant to this article, then such person may appeal the action or inaction to the authority by filing with the airport manager a written complaint and a reasonably detailed description of how the person is aggrieved. A copy of the complaint shall be provided to each commissioner of the authority, and the matter shall be set for hearing upon seven (7) days written notice to said person to be delivered by certified mail, but in no event shall the hearing be more than forty-five (45) days after receipt of the complaint by the airport manager, unless agreed to by said person. At the hearing, the person shall be allowed to present witnesses and such evidence as pertains to the complaint. Within fourteen (14) days after the hearing, the authority shall provide written notice of its determinations.
