§ 27-38. Same—Notice of application to existing owner; hearing.

Public notice shall be given by the mayor and board of aldermen and written notice given existing taxicab operators of the filing of an application for a permit under this division. After such notices have been given, a public hearing shall be held by the mayor and board of aldermen to ascertain if the public convenience and necessity requires additional vehicles for hire.
