§ 27-36. Permit—Required.

It shall be unlawful for any person to operate, or cause to be operated in the city a motor vehicle for transportation of passengers for hire unless and until he shall have been first duly licensed to do so and shall have first obtained a permit therefor under the provisions of this division.
