§ 26-196. Designation of administration.

  • (a)

    The department of public works is hereby designated as the administrator of this division and shall have the primary responsibility for its implementation and enforcement. Specific job duties with respect to this division may be assigned by the director of the department.

    (b)

    The department of planning and community development shall assist the department of public works in the administration of this division by receiving applications for permits and by providing engineering and technical expertise and information as needed in order to accomplish the purposes of this division.
