§ 26-165. Industrial and business restrictions.

During the term of a water shortage crisis declared by the mayor and board of aldermen, all businesses and industries using the municipal water system shall be prohibited from withdrawing or using each month an amount of water in excess of the average monthly usage during the preceding twelve (12) months or during the number of months the business or industry has used the municipal water supply, if less than twelve (12) months, as such average is determined by the water and light department.
