§ 15-61. License—Required.

Any person who shall sell or offer to sell at public auction in the city, any personal property of any kind whatever, except under and by virtue of a mortgage or deed of trust, without having first obtained a license therefor, shall be subject to punishment as provided in section 1-8 of this Code.
